After Nan Kadavul, Arya got a chance to prove his acting prowess in a double role. Santhakumar described the film as a spiritual sequel to his previous film Mauna Guru, which did a great job, especially in the script. BGM written by Taman is good and Kollywood wants to use him more. Overall a good weekend watch if you are a fan of thrillers
What sets man apart from ordinary Tamil films in recent times is the work of director and writer Santhakumar and his extraordinary acting as Maga and Muni from Arya. His music and BGM are a great asset to the man. The lighting, color tone and angles used by photographer Arun Padmanabhan to capture the diverse lives of Maga and Muni are commendable. Overall, Magamuni is a classic mainstream revenge thriller that requires attention to the main characters’ visual writing and flawless acting. Four out of five will go for a man. Go for it!
